House System
HOUSE SYSTEM
At Nilgiri Hills Public School, our House System is integral to fostering a sense of community and belonging among students.
Each student is assigned to a house upon enrollment, creating a smaller, close-knit community within the larger school environment.
This structure encourages camaraderie, healthy competition, and school spirit through various inter-house activities, including academic
contests, sports, and cultural events.
Beyond competition, the House System promotes leadership and personal growth. Students take on roles such as house captains and prefects,
developing essential skills like responsibility, teamwork, and communication. This system also facilitates mentorship, with older students
guiding younger peers, thereby cultivating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that contributes to the holistic development of every student.
