NOTE FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS
- The Almanac contains important information rules and regulations with respect to the functioning of the school. You are requested to go through these details carefully.
- Students are requested to bring the almanac to school every day
- Please fill in the requisite information in the Almanac. In case of change of address or telephone number, please notify the class teacher immediately in
- The Almanac is a means of communication between parents and the school staff. Please use the Almanac, if you wish to communicate with the teacher on any Appointments may be sought with teacher through it.
- It is essential that you go through the Almanac on daily basis. Please sign all notes written by the teacher in it so that we are able to know that you have read these.
- If the parents do not receive the Assessment answer sheets as per the schedule, they should report to school immediately and talk about it to the class teacher or the Principal.
- Ensure that your child reaches the school at least five minutes prior to the morning bell. Late comers will be refused to enter into the school premises.
- Parents have to keep in mind that they reach five minutes prior to the last bell, so that the students do not have to wait unnecessarily and feel insecure.
- Parents/Guardians are not permitted to go directly into the classrooms to pick their wards or to meet teachers. They should contact the reception in this
- Parents are requested to respond immediately to letters and notes sent by the In case there is no response, the steps taken by the school authorities in that regard will be final.
- Parent-Teacher Meetings foster a clear understanding and strengthens communication , so that Parents and Teachers can work together to help in the child’s all round development. It is mandatory for all parents to attend these
- Parents must check the uniform, haircut and punctuality of their wards.
- Parents should encourage their wards to take a balanced interest in Scholastic as well as Co-scholastic activities.
Restrict daily pocket money to Rs. 20/- per day. Excessive spending should be discouraged.
- Parents must ensure that the vans or auto rickshaws arranged by them are not overloaded and their drivers have proper police verification.
- All Parents are requested to inculcate sound hygienic habits in their wards. They should be given balanced diet; regular exercise and sleep for eight hours daily.
Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities in enforcing discipline among the students.
- Parents are requested to keep regular check on the assignments/tests.
- Parents should ensure that the child carries books and notebooks according to the timetable.
- Parents are requested to check school’s website, Twitter, Facebook accounts for updates.
Lunch box will not be accepted at the reception
- All parents should ensure that their wards bring water-bottles to the school everyday.
- Parents are requested to check for the neat and tidy turn out of the child before coming to school.
- Parents must not allow their wards to carry any entertainment devices such as mobile phones, IPAD to the school, it will be confiscated.
- Parents are requested to discourage private tuitions as School Teachers are not allowed to teach any of the students privately.
CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS
- Students must attend the morning assembly and maintain discipline and decorum befitting the occasion.
- Movement from the assembly to the classrooms, play-grounds, etc. should be done in an orderly manner by forming queues and maintaining silence.
- Students are not allowed to loiter in the school premises during school hours.
- If a student brings mobile phone in case of any urgency, it should be handed over to the class teacher before going to the classroom in the morning with written permission letter from the Principal. It can be collected after the school gets over
- Students need to obtain a Class Pass to go out of their classes.
- All students should be well groomed and neatly dressed in proper school uniform (shirt to be tucked inside in proper way).
- School prefects and class monitors have to wear their respective badges daily.
- The school provides all the necessary equipments for sports activity during the games period. Students are not allowed to bring their own balls, bats and other sports equipments to the school.
- Students are required to behave decently and treat all members of the staff and visitors with respect and courtesy. Disrespect to the staff and others may result in serious disciplinary action.
- Disciplinary action will be taken against students for late coming, short attendance, neglect of school work and habitual indiscipline.
- Students should not damage school property in any way. Damage done even by accident should be reported immediately to the Class teacher/Principal. Fine will be imposed for the damage.
- Writing on the walls, doors and furniture is strictly prohibited.
- All books, stationery and other personal belongings should bear the name of the student.
- Borrowing or lending of money and exchanging of articles is prohibited. The school is not responsible for any such loss incurred.
- Bullying of any kind, verbal abuse or provoking of fight is strictly prohibited. Indulging in such activities will invoke strict disciplinary action.
- If a student is unwell or absent for three days or less, an application signed by the parent or guardian must be given to the class teacher. If a student is unwell and absent for more than three days, the leave application along with medical certificate must be furnished.
- If a student requires to take leave for any reason other than medical, prior permission must be sought from the Principal/Class Teacher. Absence from school without permission will be looked into seriously.
- If a student is caught using unfair means in examinations, he/she will be awarded zero in that paper and the parents will be informed by the school authorities accordingly.
- Every student needs to wear Identity Card daily.
- No birthday gift in any form is allowed.
- Only Students of primary wing are allowed to wear casual dress on their birthdays.
